Golf Tournament Benefiting Easter Seals
On June 24th, the 45th Annual Carmichael Rotary Golf Tournament benefiting Easter Seals took place. It was fun and established a new record total amount (over the years) of 1.4 million in donations. See "Read More" for more information and photos.

"We just completed the 42nd Annual Carmichael Rotary Easter Seals Golf Classic. Except for a couple of years we have always had the tournament at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course. It is a magnificent course, well groomed with lots a trees and challenges. The staff at Ancil does a wonderful job in helping us put the event together and run smoothly. Alcal (Alcal Specialty Contracting) is one of the subsidiaries of Pacific Coast building products, inc. our event sponsor donating $40,000 again this year. Alcal is very involved with tournament as they supply as many as 27 volunteers to man the tournament. Without them we would not have the tournament that we do. Alcal and its president Darren Morris also gets most of the sponsors to donate monies and golfers playing.
To date more than $1.4 million has been raised for Easter Seals. All net monies go to Easter Seals, the sole benefactor.
The tournament has a long history with our club dating back to 1979.Then it was small and only raised a couple of thousand dollars. It of course grew over the years thanks to Jim Thompson and his relationship with Pacific Coast. He was their attorney and Chairman of the Board..
With Jim's passing in 2021 we are looking to include his name in the title of the tournament. More on this to follow." Photos Below" - Jay Sedlak

Our Club gives it's thanks to Keri Bauer, whose hard work
and photographic excellence produced the pictures (above) of the golfers.
