Alan Gallaway, Mystery Speaker

Our scheduled guest speaker, could not make the meeting because of a car accident and guess what?, for the second time Mystery Bus Guru and Toastmaster Alan Gallaway stepped up with an interesting program.

Alan has had a long history as a private pilot, over 5000 hours and is certified for instrument and twin engine planes.

He told interesting stories of his experiences. One is that he was traveling from Sacramento to Sun Valley, Idaho with his family and the right engine failed. he made it back to Sacramento and afterward his wife reminded him that she had advised him that the weather was bad and maybe they shouldn't go. His wife was right!

On another flight, in a single engine Apache, there was engine failure!
Another adventure was when the electricity went out and he finally landed in Arizona with a flat tire.

Another great job by Alan, and a book will be sent to the Carmichael Library, in honor of his lecture.
