Ten steadfast members and friends of our Club showed up at the Food Bank on Bell Ave and spent the better part of 4 hours putting food in boxes to help feed needy seniors in Elk Grove. Those participating are : Dick and Kari Bauer, Jay and Vicky Boatwright, Richard Olebe, Frank Pease and friend Michelle, and his son, Alex, Stan Roe, and Phil Danz. Our boss and tour guide Andie, she said that we filled 479 boxes, and delivered tons of non-perishable, most canned foods. We left our duties a little bit after 2 in the afternoon, tired, but happy with our accomplishment. See Photos below: |
