Today we were fortunate to have Amy Garfunkel, a lead in the Cal Farm to School government program, to tell us about their mission to bring food to needy school children in California. She is the statewide Farm to School Network Lead at the CA Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA). Amy coordinates the CA Farm to School Network, cultivating statewide opportunities for farm to school practitioners to collaborate and engage in peer-learning.
