On the February 27th Rotary Meeting, members came a little early to put our Club’s label and a book mark in 216 dictionaries which were then taken the next day, February 28th to Carmichael School (two third-grade classrooms), Deterding School (three third-grade classrooms), and Del Dayo School (three more third-grade classrooms) and given to approximately 210 students. Present were Bill Donnoe, Stan Rose, Dick Bauer, Greg Herrera, and David Thorman. These dictionaries are much appreciated and encourage literacy. Photos below: |
