Rise Against Hunger
Our speaker for the day was Jim Quiney who belongs to the Passport Rotary Club and has helped us out as a volunteer at our recent Crab Feed.
 Jim said that the Rise Against Hunger is an organization dedicated to creating a world without hunger by the year 2030. with 379,000 annual volunteers they nourish lives through projects such as sanitation and elder care. They empower communities through agriculture, income generating initiatives, and food assistance. their outreach has expanded to 410 million meals this year alone with the help of Rotary, Kraft Foods, IBM, Hilton, and others. Rotarians have packaged 30 million meals with “Rise Against Hunger”.
