The speech contest , March 19, 2019, got off to a good start and there were five excellent contestants and despite an unfortunate mix-up, the eventual winner was Cassi Cosentino who won $200 and will go on to the Regional contest at the Citrus Heights City Hall Building on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. All who are interested are invited. We were privileged to have Victory Christian High School Teacher Shannon Shope with us, who provided 4 of the 5 contestants, she is doing a remarkable job with her students. Also with us were many parents and family of the participants. Pictures are below: |
